The KB8WLW 1.25 Meter Repeater

 
 

The two twenty machine transmits on 224.480 megahertz and requires a PL of 141.3.  Transmitter power is 60 watts and has an effective radiated power over 200 watts.  The antenna height above mean sea level is thirteen hundred twenty feet and has a height above average terrain of 385 feet.  The antenna is fed with 130 feet of seven eights Andrews Heliax hard line.  The repeater is a converted VHF,  GE Mastr II with a 4 cavity TX RX duplexer.  It also has an, Advanced Receiver Research receiver pre amp.  The transmitter is also equipped with a dual stage isolator.  It is a single site system with HT coverage for most of Cuyahoga County.  Mobile coverage extends into surrounding counties and beyond.  The repeater mobile range needs to be fully tested, so key up and help us out.
